Cocktail Hacker

I know this makes for two rum drinks in a row, but the El Presidente* calls for white rum so it should be sufficiently different. In flipping through the Joy of Mixology looking for my next cocktail to conquer this one just sounded delicious. So there you have it. A glimpse in to my highly scientific selection process.

El Presidente (Joy of Mixology)

2 oz Light Rum

1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

1/2 oz Pineapple Juice

Dash of Grenadine

1) Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice

2) Shake until well chilled

3) Strain into a chilled cocktail glass

* Bonus points if you think the “the” is redundant. ;)
