Over the last couple years it’s become a ubiquitous cocktail.\u00c2\u00a0 In fact, if you look around I bet there’s one within eye shot of you right now.\u00c2\u00a0 The Mojito, you know it and I’m certain you’ve had a crappy one, everyone has.\u00c2\u00a0 But, this week, I’m here to teach you how to do it right.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s another one of those deceptively simple cocktails that can go wrong so easily.<\/p>\n

We’ll start with Gary Regan’s recipe.\u00c2\u00a0 Because, if for no other reason, I’m sure it’s been carefully researched. :D<\/p>\n

Mojito (Joy of Mixology)<\/strong><\/pre>\n
4 Limes Wedges\r\n2 - 3 tsp Sugar\r\n8 - 10 Mint Leaves\r\n2 oz White Rum\r\nClub Soda\r\nMint Sprig for Garnish<\/strong><\/pre>\n
1) Combine lime wedges, sugar and mint in a glass\r\n2) Muddle until sugar is dissolved\r\n3) Add rum and ice\r\n4) Top with club soda\r\n5) Garnish with a mint sprig<\/strong><\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
